The first thing I noticed when I came on today is that Fishing and Jewel Hunt are both still here. Yay! The second thing is that two new icons have appeared above the EXP bar. One is a redesign for Skills and the second are for Eudaemons, which are available for Lvl 70 and above.

It seems that the Tree is gone, replaced by a small farm building. I went in and it looked interesting. I liked how the plots have been expanded to 15 for me and the animals seem like an interesting feature, albeit expensive in terms of gold. The only thing I really, really don’t like about it is that there is a bonfire that had no explanation. I lit it up and was bombarded with 700k EXP. There was absolutely no warning and the new World Prosperity, which I couldn’t see because hovering over the icons didn’t give me any information, is at 1000%. Wonderful. I ended up warning all the friends that I could to not light up their bonfire. Some, unfortunately, experienced it themselves. I had exiled myself from the farm until the bonfire exp buff disappeared.
Out of all the changes in this patch, the thing that irked me the most is the FORMATION. It is so frustrating. I was doing Arena, trying to rearrange people as I normally do. Not only was it impossible to put players together back and front in a single column, but you can’t switch their positions by dragging and dropping to another player. So basically, once four people enter the Arena room, you’re stuck with it. All you can change is whether the person will be in the back row or the front row. The second infuriating thing is that the player in the back row, closest to you is cut off from the screen. Yay! Not only can I not see my toon, but I also had trouble seeing my opponent’s toon and HP. I know that they had changed it to incorporate Eudaemons, but I think they need to reconsider the design.

Now, on to a lighter note. Goodie Link is a fun (for some people) game that gives very poor rewards without cashing. I’m not sure if I’m motivated enough to give myself a minor heart attack for 50k gold, 1 sepulcrum, 2 mahra, and 2 imperial seals. Yes, I’m terrible with games that have time limits. They completely raise up my anxiety level and it’s not a pleasant feeling.
That is really all I have for now… Time to watch the Hockey Playoffs!
2am Update: My farm animals are finally ready to be harvested. Unfortunately, I couldn’t collect from one of them. At the same time, my friend apologised for harvesting from one of my animals. I wasn’t sure what it meant, but then I did a little experiment on my own. I, with regret, harvested a farm friend’s animal. I only got one milk, but the animal’s harvest timer reset. This might be a glitch because of the difference in harvesting benefits (1 milk from thief vs. 30-150 milk from owner). Hopefully will change because I don’t fancy coming back over night to see that I need another 8 hours to harvest my animals because ONE person decided that they wanted just ONE milk.
The Next Day: Alright, so it didn’t happen yesterday, but today! When I came back and saw I had a lot of milk to collect from my MAIL, I’m assuming that the stolen milk goes there and everything is well. I didn’t see my lovely friend’s name on there when she harvested, so perhaps it wasn’t the same yesterday? I really have no clue.
Bloody Inferno: They added some things and took away some things, but overall… The event is MUCH worse. Basically, the only good thing is that there is no time limit. The bad things are: Bosses all have stun (It’s nearly impossible with the Healers unless you’re really, really, really strong) and you no longer get revived (glitch?). But let me tell you, my group wasn’t exactly weak. For the Lvl 60 BI, I had 196k BR + my friends of (180k BR + 225k BR). We didn’t get past the fifth boss. It was difficult before, but it’s more so now and very, very annoying. The stun takes off a third of your HP and leave you unable to do anything for a couple rounds, which means that if you used berserk, it’s useless now. Berserk was really the only way we could defeat the higher bosses.
Wilds: The elites and bosses also have stun now, but since they’re weaker and less likely to heal, it’s not as much of a problem. As mentioned by Imonseph, there is also a new bug in the Wilds, as if we don’t have enough of those there already. Sometimes, there is a “marching” message in the Wilds and the toon is either not in sight or somewhere it’s actually not. The only way that I can see so far is to teleport to a location and that will make the toon materialise back into the fabrics of virtual reality.
Crypt Shop: Things are cheaper there! Rejoice! It’s rare to see something in our favour. Now, if only they could get rid of the World Prosperity so that I can actually start blitzing the Forbidden Catacombs, again.
Dimensions: Aside from attacking the normal monsters, I find that there is actually no EXP from anything else – including the Guardians to unlock the next floor. This also means that it’ll be more difficult to get Coordinate Shards, but since they’re giving away five Coordinate Chests per month, it should be alright. The only thing I’m worried about is opening another player’s dimension or having another player invade my dimension.
